Press fittings are used all over the world, and there are very fewer chances of plumbers using the old techniques for the installation and fitting of pipelines. There are two basic profiles. The V type of press fittings and the M profile press fittings. 

Both of these profiles are equally significant and provides the same level of efficiency and effectivity. They are mostly distinguished on the basis of ones’ habit of using them, i.e., how comfortable one is with the use of the profile.
